Salto Gymnastics & Trampolining, Midleton, Co Cork
We offer several recreational programmes teaching gymnastics and trampolining to different ages and ability levels in a safe environment. We aim to provide fun and creative classes that improve the gymnasts’ coordination, strength, flexibility, fitness, and gymnastics & trampolining skills.
Not everyone needs to start as a junior infant and work their way up. We can easily accommodate children or teenagers who have not done gymnastics before who want to join.
It is important to us that our classes build on a child/teenager’s self-esteem as well as their skill-set. Ideally, at the end of their class, our members go out the door with a smile on their face and a sense of achievement.
The recreational gymnasts have opportunities to compete in club events and participate in the Gymnastics Ireland GymSTART Award Scheme. We also offer our recreational gymnasts the opportunity to compete in Gymnastics Ireland GymSTART Events.
Our classes for teenagers on Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm are a great opportunity to get exercise and learn new skills while socialising at the same time.
We run 3 terms per year. Current members are given the first opportunity to book their place for the next term. Any spaces that have not been booked by current members will be opened up for new members to join Salto. We do not take names on a waiting list. Posts advertising any openings will be put in the News section of the website and on our social media.
